You're preaching to the choir, man - or at least to one mezzo baritone.
ACID in particular are unappealing to me, but they are not the only ones.
I recently got a "Heaven" Mojito flavored toro in a cigar of the month club shipment. My initial reaction was the sarcastic "Great."
Smoked it over the weekend. I had opened the day with a Holt's bundler, "Babalu" which was a bit rugged for the early morning, so I thought to "refresh my palate" with 'a little bit of Heaven'.
The only thing refreshed was my disdain for flavored cigars. |

In general, I do not like flavored cigars, but I must confess that I recall enjoying a couple of Elevation cherry flavored Churchills a couple of years ago. They were a throw-in on an order from somebody and I recall I was surprised and pleased.
I once bought a tin of Leon Jimenes Machiato little cigars, supposed to be flavored like coffee and cream - bleagh, they were awful.
Having recently noted my perfecto collection, I now note that I would buy the Drew Estate Tabak Especial perfectos, but his Def Sea is plenty of flavored perfecto for me. I collect them, but I do like to taste at least one of each cigar, and I have no desire to taste another cigar said to taste of coffee and cream. |

| I know that flavored smokes may not be for everyone, but in terms of Drew Estate and more specifically the Java, I know I'm in love. The hints of coffee not only go very well with a cuppa, but it's really a pleasing smoke to curl up with, morning noon or night. |

Welcome a-"board" JohnO.
I recently received a few Drew Estate Tabak Especial maduros as a throw-in with my order from Famous. These are coffee flavored as well.
Gotta say, maybe the best flavored cigar I ever had. I think it might have been a damned nice cigar without flavoring.
Have you tried this line? If so, what did you think? if not, I think you ought.
Again, welcome a"board". |

I have yet to try an ACID; it's one of those things where if somebody offered my one I'd try it but I'm not spending money on sticks like these when the same money could be spent on a good conventional cigar.
Not saying flavored cigars are bad - hell, I have a stash of Miami Suites in an old Thompson's box that I dig into from time to time. But for a premium cigar, I like it to taste like an actual cigar. |

I too agree by the fact that flavored cigars may not amuse many people but recently I purchased 'Acid Cold Infusion Tea' which made me jump of my seat while smoking! The aroma was too intense and I enjoyed every bit of it! _________________ http://www.ajscigar.com |

Perhaps in your opinion.
My opinion happens to be that flavorings aren't needed for premium well aged and fermented tobacco. I've had my share of Java's and a few of the Acid line....even a couple of CAO flavors, and none of them appeal to me. |

Well, johnconnor12, this at least seems almost like a legitimate post, so I will once again offer you the official CigarTrends "semi-welcome".
You apparently did not notice, but you are unlikely to get response telling what posters' favorite flavored cigars are since most of the posters above have said they don't really like them.
If you indeed think that flavored cigars are "far better", why not tell us, in your own words, not some cut and paste marketing blurb, what your favorites are?
Oh, and leave off the unpaid advertisement - saves me the trouble of removing it. |

Coincidently, I just received a flavored cigar in a Cigar of the Month Club shipment, a Drew Estates Java.
It's worthy of mention because this is a box-pressed cigar and I have to say this cigar is about the cleanest, crispest, knife-edged press I have seen.
Like square, daddy-o. |
